If you’re looking for a high end dinner in St. Augustine, Llama restaurant is the place to go. This Peruvian restaurant cooks traditional dishes with a modern twist. The atmosphere is intimate, the service is top notch, and the food is absolutely incredible.
I recommend the salmon with potatoes, and my dinner group loved the seafood risotto, lamb shops, and steak pasta. Reservations are required, and they can only accommodate groups up to 5 people. They also offer a vegan menu, and dessert is simply a must at Llama Restaurant.
11. Forgotten Tonic | American
While not as expensive as Llama Restaurant, Forgotten Tonic is a chic place to enjoy a nice date or family dinner. They have a great selection of food with vegetarian options as well, along with a huge wine and cocktail menu.
I recommend their shrimp and grits (I still think about this dish) paired with a Forgotten Tonic cocktail, a drink you can’t get anywhere else!

If it’s time for drinks, head to Tipsy Duck for a fun and quacky time. This drink bar is decorated with all things rubber ducks, you’ll even get your own mini duck on your drink to take home! They have a nice assortment of drinks, and they offer non-alcoholic drinks so bring your kids too!

Beer lovers, this one’s hand picked for you! As someone always on the lookout for great beer tasting, Auggie’s Draft Room hit the spot the last time I explored St. Augustine, and I plan to return any time I visit.
There are over 20 beers, with a few wines too, to choose from on the beer wall. You’ll get a special card to scan which allows you to pout yourself however much of whatever beer you choose! It’s charged by the ounce, so you can try a sip of every beer if you like ( I recommend doing this 🍻). They also sell food at Auggie’s.
